Brazil takes large shipment of LNG
    Raleigh Times
    Wednesday 28th July, 2010

Qatar, which is the world’s biggest exporter of liquefied natural gas, has sent its first shipment to Brazil.

Qatar's RasGas has sold a cargo of the fuel to Petroleo Brasileiro in Brazil.

Reduced demand in the US and China has caused Qatar to look to other countries for an expansion of its sales.

Forecasts have shown that South America, and especially Brazil, will be a regular buyer of LNG.
